01. About The Business

AA jewelry shop in Belur, Howrah, owned by Mr. Ganesh Sharma with no online presence. Started in 2008 the business is running locally just within the zone and has a very impactful local presence.

02.Problems

We reached out to the local shop and asked if they wanted to go online. We got an answer that most people in India are struggling with. Their reply was: “I wanted to go online and sell my products online but don’t have any time or knowledge about online”. We then researched and concluded the following points:

    • They had no online presence.
    • Limited to a zone or area they were working.
    • Searching to go-online
    • Don’t know where to start
    • They were shifting to a new permanent place and had a low budget to get started.

03. Solution & Strategies

Solution: After confirming and researching various things we came up with strategies to deal with the problems in many ways. There were 5 strategies that we laid out in front of them and they chose the following:

    • To build a Google business profile so that they show an online presence.
    • To build a website under Google business profile would be cost efficient as there were so tight on the budget and kept insisting on having a website.
    • To have a business card that shows QR to give their business a professional touch-up.
